Keeping others happy isn’t kind
Hearing, seeing, and serving others by being present and available in the moment is kind. Making decisions where you abandon yourself because you think it will keep the other person happy isn’t.
When you make someone else the reason you “can’t” do what you know or want, you blame them and ultimately resent them. Your job is to love yourself and them enough to make the choices for your life that allow you to both give and receive at your highest level. Your job is not to keep others’ status quo in place.
What if you stopped blaming others for not being able to live your life and started living from love instead?
