Struggle is your permission

When you find yourself struggling, it means there is something to let go of.

A belief, a pattern, an attachment, an aversion, a “should”. We often think that if we did it right, we wouldn’t have to struggle. So we keep trying to do it right, better, or more, and we try to “fix” the problem by beating ourselves and others up and forcing something to happen.

Struggle is completely optional, and completely different than intensity or discomfort. In fact, when we allow ourselves to experience intensity and discomfort and stop resisting it, we stop struggling. When we are willing to let go of our beliefs about the unknown, the uncomfortable, or the inconvenient, we shift from struggling into ease.

What if you never needed to struggle?
