Wanting something to matter
We suffer when we want something to matter that doesn’t matter, when we try to solve problems that create more problems.
We often think controlling what we look like, re-creating what we did yesterday, managing how others perceive us, or protecting ourselves behind massive amounts of money or busyness will finally help us feel like we matter enough to be safe. However, when we try to fix these issues, we create more problems of the same frequency that send us further down the wrong path.
Our job every day is to notice what we are trying to make matter that just doesn’t matter. When we are willing to stop putting our energy behind things that don’t deserve it, we transform and become free.
What if you focused on what truly matters?
